Return from Rhodes
I’m now back in Sheffield following an exhausting week in Rhodes for the 50th World Congress of Chess Composition (WCCC). Available on the Permanent Commission for Chess Composition (PCCC) website are the results of the Open Solving and the World Chess Solving Championship (WCSC). As solving director I was quickly tired out with too many solutions to mark, too many discretionary decisions to make, too many late nights and probably too many beers too. For the moment I shall just post some of my photographs here. In the future I may get around to writing up the event in more detail, but as I spent all week concentrating on the solving I probably wouldn’t be the best person to do this. Any offers? I can’t offer any payment, but I can offer quick publication.
